A Platform for Human Stories

Two days ago, I met with two friends at a coffee shop tore our tips and knowledge about Medium. I have been a longer-time member than they, so I was sharing what I knew and as we had our laptops with us, we were able to apply it immediately. Call it a Medium learning group, but whatever it was it began an exciting journey for all of us.

The very next day, both friends called me and told me that they are so excited and just want to write, write, write! How cool is that? Both of them- Zizi Majid and Sue Ozunal- have unique stories and insights on life and business challenges which will be tremendous topics to share and explore! I know they will write from the heart, bare their souls and help us see ourselves in a mirror too. And of course, I will have Medium buddies to learn with and teach and celebrate our progress on this platform. Now we will meet weekly to coach each other on how to use all the nifty tools in Medium.

What I realized is how many generous and humble human beings there are in the world. We want to share with others what we experienced, how we dealt with it, how we are going forward and most importantly how we are growing and developing as human beings - it is the idea of sharing knowledge and wisdom that brings us together.
